Dr. Muhammad Ahmed is a seasoned educational planner and developer at KHYAS Consultants Group and provide high quality consulting services in designing educational and training systems. Dr. Ahmed has more than 25 years of extensive professional experience in managing and supporting academic program development and academic/training quality assurance initiatives in business, higher education, and PreK-12 settings.
In 1996, Dianne (Muslim name Mushirah) McCutchen was blessed enough to revert to Islam from Christianity after life changing dawah from her then 16-year-old daughter. She and her daughter had traveled to several Islamic countries and felt they had an immediate connection to the religious beliefs and lifestyle. Her daughter reverted in 1994 in the eleventh grade which was an inspiration to say the least! Ms. McCutchen is presently an active practicing member in Baltimore Islamic masjids (Al-Rahman, ISB), and Masjid Al Ihsan. Throughout the years she has also been active in Masjid Al Inshirah, (Windsor Mill), Dar-Al-Taqwa, and Maryam Center, Ellicott City communities.
Umm Umar/Shaheda Hakim is a professional teacher with a degree in Shariah/Islamic studies and a minor in secular education as well as the successful owner of a licensed pre-school, which serves an interest in imparting Academic education to the students while instilling Islamic values and fundamentals from a young age.She is also the daughter of Sheikhul Hadith, Sayed Mufti Abdul Jalil, who has been an expert in the field of Hadith for over four decades Alhamdulillah. In addition to the pre-school, Umm Umar has founded and currently operates Al Ma’had lin Nisaa, which offers Shariah programme in light of Quran and Hadith as well as Halaqas for sisters. As a contribution to society, Umm Umar is a youth and marriage counsellor and hosts related seminars to benefit the sisters. Home schooling has also been one of the many programmes which has opened up due to constant community requests. Currently working on her leadership education at Harvard.
Mimi Miraj has over three decades of experience in the world of academics. She has served student populations from kindergarten to college as a adjunct professor, social worker, guidance counselor, LEA facilitator, instructional strategist, crisis counselor, ESL teacher, department chair,classroom teacher, adult programs and GED programs. fundamentals from a young age. She has worked with urban and rural populations. She has worked with high risk students, and students in alternative educational programs. Her experiences have given her insight into developing and implementing a program that will assist students to achieve. She has understanding that the foundations of striving for excellence lie at the early stages of education. Thereby, in collaboration with the Alima we wish to provide a school that will produce a young man who is responsible and accountable. The mortar of this is a strong foothold in the basics of education.
